Stansted History Society Website
This website has been developed to share information on the history of the local area covering the villages of Stansted, Fairseat, and Vigo. The three villages are in close proximity and located in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Stansted & Fairseat History Society is a not-for-profit organisation run by local volunteers. Information on the Society and its aims is available by selecting the ‘About the Society’ link. The Society is funded by Parish Council grant aid and the generosity of local residents and other interested parties who make voluntary donations to cover third-party running costs and these may be viewed by selecting the ‘Donations Received’ button.
